Support Issues and FAQs
Applications fail to open due to missing "wininet.dll" file.
Solution:
- Boot the machine in safe mode with networking functions. In order to do so, press the F8 key when booting up and select the option Safe mode with networking functions.
- Once the computer is started, click on the Start icon, and type cmd in the text box. Then, press Enter.
- From the ms-dos (black) window, enter the following commands:
- ftp 62.99.76.3 and press Enter.
- Now, type in panda and press Enter.
- Type again panda and press Enter.
- Once in the ftp directory, type in bin and press Enter.
- In the following line, type in mget solution.exe and press Enter.
- When it asks for confirmation, type in Y and press Enter.
- Type in quit command and press Enter.
- Type in solution.exe and press Enter.
- The computer will then restart.
- Update the antivirus. (right-click on the panda icon in the bottom right of the screen and open the program)
- If Panda doesn't update, restart the PC again.
- Check everything is now working.
