Least Cost Routing (LCR/CPS)

Our Least Cost Routing / Carrier Pre Select service enables you to save on average between 30% to 70% against BT calls. This service is provided through Entacall, part of the Enta Group based in Telford, Shropshire.

Our LCR / CPS service can be applied to PSTN, ISDN2 and ISDN30 lines.

• What is LCR?

  LCR stands for Least Cost Routing, which simply means cheaper phone calls. On average we save our customers about 30% to 70% against their BT bills.

• How can Entacall cut down my call charges?

  By working with alternative 1st class carriers who have much lower overheads than BT they are able to provide you high quality calls with much cheaper call charges.

• Do I need to purchase any hardware?

  Entacall use CPS technology which enables them to route your calls directly through BT's switch, then they route them through a pre-designated carrier of their choice. CPS cuts down the leakage to nearly 0% and no visit to your premises is needed.

• Are there any minimum specifications you require on my telephone system?

  NO! As long as you have BT installed lines they can route the calls for you.

• Do I need to change my telephone number?

  NO! Your BT numbers will be retained.

• How long does it take for connection?

  After we receive your signed Entacall agreement and Direct Debit mandate, it takes about 10-15 working days for your lines to go live with Entacall. You will receive a letter from BT stating the switch over date.

• Who will invoice me for the call charges?

  You will pay all your outgoing call charges to Entacall. They will send you an invoice and itemised bill (free of charge) every month. You only need to pay BT for your line rental.

• How much does it cost me to sign up with Entacall?

  NOTHING!! It's totally FREE to sign up for the Entacall LCR service with Mental Solutions.

• Is there any minimum contract term?

  NO! Unlike other telecom companies who request at least 6—12 months minimum contract, there is no minimum contract term for Entacall's LCR.

• Is there any minimum call charge for calls shorter than one minute?

  No. Unlike BT, Entacall do not apply any minimum call charge to their customers. Considering an average 40% of business calls are less than 1 minute, Entacall's "bill by second" feature is another add-on to savings you can make through them.

• How many pence per minute do I pay for each call after I sign-up with Entacall?

  UK Local Calls: 1.45 pence per minute (BT 3.05 PPM)
  UK National Calls: 1.45 PPM (BT 5.10 PPM)
  UK Mobiles: 11.99 PPM (BT 12.29 PPM)

Entacall only use Tier 1 routing so the call quality is guaranteed.
All peak-time rates quoted above are in Great Britain pence per minute and VAT exclusive.
All rates quoted above are based on the published rates on each provider's website in Oct 2004.
Entacall UK mobile rate applies to UK Vodaphone, O2, T-mobile and Orange networks.
All Entacall rates are corrected at time of going to press 10/11/2004.
